FRIDAY 8 MAY
The event starts at 7.00p.m. with free rides on the Heritage Carousel. During the pre-dinner Champagne Reception, there will be an opportunity to bid at the five star Silent Auction, with its choice of designer handbags, jewellery and beauty treats, chic restaurant dinners and the highly collectable signed and framed theatrical posters.
Throughout the evening, Richmond's very own highly acclaimed and uber chic boutique hotel, The Bingham, will be dispensing refreshments from their cocktail bar within the marquee.
Guests will be called in to take their seats at 8pm for the gourmet four course dinner, accompanied by a selection of red and white wines, and as coffee is served, entertainment is provided by 'local treasure' John Postlewhaite, with his fast-paced live auction.
Dancing follows to live music, and back by popular demand, are Higher Ground, the rock and soul band who had everyone on their feet at last year's sell-out occasion.
The proceeds from this year's Ball will benefit three local charities:
Richmond Carers, The Royal Ballet School in Richmond Park, and the Community and Education programme at the Orange Tree.
Contact Gillian Thorpe at the Orange Tree to book tickets. 0208 940 0141 or gillian.thorpe@orangetreetheatre.co.uk.
Tickets £120.
