What does a man really mean when he says he is going hunting? Moricet desperately wants Leontine. Leontine's husband, Duchotel, says he is going hunting with Cassagne. Meanwhile Cassagne is on the verge of catching his wife in flagrante delicto. Gontran, Duchotel's nephew, is skipping school to meet his mistress and somehow they all converge in the apartments overseen by the Countess of Northern Latour! Only quick wit and wondrous timing can save the situation from spelling disaster.
Sam Walters directs this year's co-production with the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough.
