8 Offie nominations for the Orange Tree

We're delighted to have 8 finalists in the Offie Award nominations for 2017.

Chris Urch has been nominated for Best New Play for The Rolling Stone, which was directed by Ellen McDougall. It has also been nominated for Best Production and Fiston Barek for Best Male Performance. John Ramm has also been nominated for Best Male Performance for playing the title role in Somerset Maugham's Sheppey with both Dickie Beau and Josh Dylan being nominated for Best Supporting Male. Simon Daw is nominated for Best Design.

Zoe Cooper is nominated for the Most Promising Playwright Award for her play Jess and Joe Forever and David Mercatali is nominated for Best Director for his revival of Caryl Churchill's Blue Heart.

The Rolling Stone was co-produced with the Royal Exchange Theatre, Blue Heart with Tobacco Factory Theatres and Jess and Joe Forever with Farnham Maltings.
