Rupert trained at LAMDA. 

His work in theatre includes CK Dexter Haven in High Society (The Old Vic); Tonight at 8.30 (Nuffield Theatre and tour); Bobby in Company (Southwark Playhouse); Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare’s Globe Neuss); Afterlife and Never So Good (National Theatre); French Without Tears (English Touring Theatre); Sleeping Beauty (Salisbury Playhouse); Cymbeline, Twelfth Night and HMS Pinafore (Open Air, Regent’s Park); Singing With Molly and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (Landor).

TV includes People Just Do Nothing, The White Queen, Sir Leon in five series of Merlin, Shameless, Hotel Babylon, Primeval, Heartbeat, Vital Signs, Foyle’s War, Doc Martin and Island at War.   

Film includes Writers Retreat and Dirty Filthy Love.
