Join us on a journey of discovery

Play your part in the OT’s future by donating to the Orange Tree's :DISCOVER campaign and:

EXPERIENCE the next generation of theatre talent at work
such as Josh Dylan's award-winning stage debut in Sheppey

EXPERIMENT with three groundbreaking new plays
like An Octoroon which is transferring to the National Theatre in summer 2018

EXPLORE lesser-known contemporary plays that inspire theatremakers today
such as "Alice Hamilton's exemplary revival" of The March on Russia - Dominic Cavendish, Telegraph

:DISCOVER aims to raise £100,000 over three years, enabling the OT to embark on an ambitious programme of activity that wouldn't otherwise take place, including:

  • Developing 36 new writers
  • Producing 3 new plays you wouldn't see elsewhere
  • ‚ÄčTouring to 30 venues

Every £1 you donate will be doubled by Arts Council England, and with Gift Aid becomes £2.25.

"The Orange Tree has it all: a hugely rich theatrical history, filled with more important names than you could list, and a thrilling adventurous approach to programming new work. Having my play staged in Paul Miller's first season there will always be a career highlight for me." Alistair McDowall, writer of Pomona
