Join our Fun Palace!

On Sunday 7 October we will join 300+ Fun Palaces across the UK and globally, set to erupt with free and fun activities, celebrating culture in our community - and you’re invited!

This year our Fun Palace is all about SOUND! You can invent a musical instrument, explore your amazing brain, or meet new friends and take part in a Big Sing, raising awareness about World Mental Health Day.

Come along and see how much noise you can make!

Activities will take place between 2pm and 4pm in our rehearsal rooms.

All ages are welcome – and it’s all FREE!

The Big Sing will be led by Melissa James – a singer songwriter who has organised Big Sing events to raise awareness for mental health at locations across London as part of her project called SING4SANE. (You can find out more about Melissa here  You can find out more about Melissa and her project via the SING4SANE music video on YouTube

To take part in the Big Sing you will need to come to the Orange Tree Theatre at 10am on Sunday 7 October.

In the morning you’ll take part in a fun, friendly workshop to learn a song, led by Melissa. After a lunch break, everyone will sing together on the steps of the Orange Tree Theatre a few times between 2pm and 4pm during the Fun Palace event.

Everyone aged 7 +, along with family and friendship groups are welcome to take part in the Big Sing. Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the day.

Everyone of all ages will be able to enjoy watching (and joining in with) the performances in the afternoon!

Our building is wheelchair accessible, and a quiet breakout space will be available for anyone that needs to use it throughout the day.
