The Winter's Tale

by William Shakespeare
06 June 2015 — 06 June 2015

A family torn apart by jealousy and reunited by magic, this is one of Shakespeare’s most enchanting tales.

Just like all the best fairy tales it is full of danger, with a lost princess, an evil king and of course, a happy ending. The production will be a feast of music and dancing – as well as bringing to life Shakespeare’s most famous stage direction: exit pursued by a bear!

With a drop of Shakespeare’s magic – a statue that springs to life – and a family reunited in joy, this is a wintry tale that blossoms into a sunshine-filled happy ending.

The Winter’s Tale also plays in the theatre for over 4,000 Primary School children accompanied by workshops in schools throughout late Spring.

Suitable for ages 7+.
