The Orange Tree Theatre is situated in the heart of Richmond, just two minutes from the station, at 1 Clarence Street, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2SA.

When you leave the station, cross the road and turn right for 50 metres, until you pass the Orange Tree pub. From there, turn left down Clarence Street for the theatre entrance and evening box office (from 6.00pm on performance days), or carry on straight down Kew Road for the daytime box office at no. 53 (10.00am-6.00pm Mon - Sat). Closed Bank Holidays.

The bar at the theatre is open from an hour before the performance.

PLEASE NOTE latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Photography in the auditorium is strictly prohibited.

Tickets can be booked here securely 24 hours a day. There is no booking fee.

Call our Box Office on 020 8940 3633. There is no booking fee. The Box Office is open from 10.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Saturdays. Closed Bank Holidays. 

In Person
You can buy tickets in person from our Box Office at 53 Kew Road (just round the corner from the theatre) which is open from Monday to Saturday 10.00am - 6.00pm. Closed Bank Holidays.

The Theatre Box Office at 1 Clarence Street is open from 6.00pm for evening performances and from 1.30pm on matinee days.

£15 concession tickets are available for Monday evenings and midweek matinees to over 60s, students, recipients of state benefit and members of theatre unions and guilds on presentation of proof.

£15 tickets available for disabled patrons plus one escort at the same rate;

£10 tickets available for blind or partiallysighted patrons and an escort at the same price for audio-described performances. For dates of audio-described performances see individual production pages.

No children under 5 can be admitted to the Theatre.

We offer a limited number of £12 tickets on Monday to Thursday evenings. Bookable online, by phone and in person. ID must be presented when collecting tickets.

A limited number of £10 standing room tickets are available on the upper level once all seats have been sold.

Groups of 12 or more get 10% off full price tickets for Monday to Thursday evenings and matinees. 

Tickets may be exchanged up until 48 hours before the performance (7 days in advance for groups of 12+). Tickets are non-refundable. If you have a ticket you can no longer use, please phone the Box Office and if a performance has sold out we may be able to resell it and give you credit for a future performance (valid for 2 years). Exchanges carry a £2 per ticket fee, waived for Members.

Tickets can be collected from the Theatre Box Office free of charge, or posted to you for £1.00.
